- • Your next-step checklist progress is saved only in your browser's local storage. It is not stored on a server, is not shared, and is only included in an emailed report if you choose to send yourself the full report.
- • You can clear all locally stored information, including your checklist progress, at any time using "Start Over".
- • We do not use analytics that capture your financial inputs.
- • Financial information is never placed in page URLs.
Website Technical Information
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process limited technical information required to deliver, operate, and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, and security logs. This technical information does not include the financial assumptions entered into the calculator.
When you voluntarily contact My Home Decision, the information you choose to send may be processed by your email provider and our email provider.
Printing, Saving as a PDF, and Emailing Your Report
Printing your comparison and saving it as a PDF happen entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or transmitted when you print or save your report.
Emailing your report is completely optional. No email address is required to view your results, print them, save them as a PDF, change your assumptions, or use any other part of the calculator. If you choose to email your report, you decide whether to send a summary report (results and personal fit only) or a full detailed report that also includes the assumptions you entered. Your email address is used only to deliver that report. It is not used for marketing, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties. Email is not a secure form of communication, so please do not include sensitive personal information you would not want sent by email.
Report emails are delivered by our email provider. The detailed assessment information you enter is still not stored in a server database.
If you request a complimentary review, only the information you type into the contact form (and, optionally, a short summary of your comparison you explicitly select) is sent with your message.
